This is by no means a complete list of the online woodworking classes so if you know of something more that is available please let me know. There are many other wonderful free sources for woodworking knowledge, but this isn’t Google; go there to search that out.
Popular Woodworking Videos – This is basically a full archive of any video that Popular Woodworking Magazine has produced and episodes of the Woodwright’s Shop. You can also get access the Woodwright’s Shop episodes here.
Craftsy – Not just woodworking classes. Craftsy offers a wide variety of classes from knitting to painting along with supplies. There are some free “Mini-Classes” and the one I viewed on how to use a band saw was top notch. I signed up to be an affiliate for them so if you click on a Craftsy link on my site and buy something on their site you’ll be helping support yours truly. Thanks in advance.
The Hand Tool School – This site, run by the Renaissance Woodworker, Shannon Rogers offers courses on how to do woodworking using strictly hand tools.
Rough Cut, Woodworking with Tommy Mac – This is a great woodworking series featured on PBS that teaches a great mix of machine and hand tool woodworking. Some of the episodes are shown on the site for free or you can get some of the seasons on Amazon Prime.
